Job Description
We are partnering closely with a client to develop a 2-hour Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) course focused on Power Skills, specifically Growth Mindset or Influencing as a Leader (final topic to be confirmed soon). This initiative is part of a broader reskilling and upskilling strategy for the enterprise.
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to collaborate with the internal team to design an engaging, interactive, and impactful learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop a 2-hour vILT session delivered via Microsoft Teams for up to 30 participants.
• Incorporate high interactivity, including recorded videos, breakout room activities, and other engaging elements—the client is open to innovative approaches.
• Research and create relevant, applicable content aligned with the client’s culture and business needs.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to tailor the training to the organization’s specific context.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2 months
Hours: To be determined by the consultant following an interview
Location: Virtual; must be based in Canada
Required Experience:
• Proven experience designing and developing vILT programs.
• A strong understanding of Power Skills, particularly Growth Mindset and Influencing as a Leader is highly preferred.
• Expertise in content curation and research, with the ability to source relevant, real-world examples that align with the organization’s goals.
• Bilingual in French Canadian is preferred
• Highly collaborative, creative, and consultative, with strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
