Job Description

We are working closely with our client to identify a Learning Analyst. They have providers/examiners who provide pension exams for veterans and this group provides the training for these examiners. There is a wide gap in proficiency between experts and bottom performers. They are looking for a Learning Analyst to help to set up a standard level of proficiency to get lower performers up to expert-level examiners in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete a task analysis and cognitive analysis on the providers/examiners to understand how various levels conduct these exams
  • Make suggestions and recommendations for training to get everyone up to standard level of performance in a timely manner moving forward
  • Create a standard level of performance for the role
  • Create profile of novices and experts and identify what experts are doing that separates them from peers

Experience requirements:
    • Experience running task and cognitive analysis
    • Understanding of insurance and benefits
    • Experience working within the medical space; especially interacting with physicians
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of personnel including those on the insurance side, as well as on the medical side, including nurses and physicians
    • Strong writing ability to create report and make recommendations
    • Experience with MS Office (Consultant must own licenses and laptop) 

Start: mid-April

Duration: through end of June

Hours: TBD, flexible

Location: Virtual

The pay range for this project is $70.00 to $90.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
