We are working exclusively with our client to locate a Change Management Consultant for a 6- month project.  The consultant will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology. The primary responsibility will be to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The consultant will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization.

Approximately 6-9 months


Princeton, NJ (mostly remote or telecommute with some initial onsite work and/or occasional onsite meetings)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and clearly articulate proposed change (current state/future state, scope, nature and vision)
  • Engage, coach and support leadership at all levels to ensure active and visible sponsorship
  • Facilitate and analyze initial assessments (Project Sponsorship/Governance, Project Stakeholders, Change Impact, Change Risks) for strategy and planning
  • Build out Change Management Strategy and associated action plan to address Training, Communications, Stakeholder Management, Risk Mitigation, Sponsorship and Support)
  • Implement and/or oversee all aspect of Change Management plan
  • Facilitate Change Metrics definition, targets, collection and analysis
  • Manage and monitor change adoption (assess, review, remediate cycle)
  • Build and maintain effective foundational partnerships (i.e. Learning & Development to ensure effective Training Strategy and training deliverables, HR/Business for organization/staffing, IT for Technology support)

Skills, Competencies, and Tools Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • 5-10 years implementing Change Management for large scale, global transformational projects
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and/or CRO industry strongly preferred
  • 3 years working with SharePoint sites to facilitate project collaboration and communications
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and professionalism are a must


  • 3 years writing content for and producing/building communications vehicles (i.e. SharePoint Sites, Newsletters, Websites, Videos, Executive Briefings, Managerial Talking points, Presentations, Brochures,)
  • Experience with HTML publishing
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci 


    or Prosci certification is a plus
