Instructional Designer/Facilitator (Medical ILT) -Montreal, QC
Job Description
Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. Instructional Designer/Facilitator to create and deliver an in-person ILT, either ½-Day or 1-Day in duration, for an internal team consisting of the Head of Medical, 2 Field Managers, and 5 Medical Science Liaisons (MSL's).
This training is for the development of communication skills and objectives for in-person or virtual meetings with customers, with the goal to best establish connections with customers by using effective questioning prompts and the ability to collect important customer insights. The goal is for MSL's to be able to proactively engage with customers using questioning techniques as opposed to just relaying scientific information.
The project will include the creation of customer profiles and Role Plays/Simulations as well as other content for the ILT, followed by Delivery/Facilitation of the 1-time training session in Montreal, QC in September 2024. The Head of Medical will serve as the internal SME for the creation of some of the content in conjunction with this consultant.
The MSL’s will be from two therapeutic groups - Women's Health and from Biosimilars - so customer profiles will need to be created for each portfolio. From this, each team can run through Role Play/Simulations during the training (roleplays don’t necessarily have to be therapeutic area specific).
Skills & Experience Requirements:
Duration: ~1-2 months.
Location: Content creation can be done virtually/remote. Training Delivery/Facilitation will be onsite in Montreal, QC area in September. Local consultant preferred.

Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Must be a highly skilled Sr. Instructional Designer/Facilitator with 8+ years of relevant experience creating and delivering corporate training.
- Must have strong adult learning principles experience as well as knowledge of best practices and the latest trends in creating effective ILT learning experiences.
- Must have a pronounced therapeutic or medical background.
- Must be highly skilled in the creation of interactive customer communications training.
- Must be a highly engaging in-person training Facilitator.
- Consultant must be willing to provide a proposal (without meeting with the client team), ideally by EOD 6/7 or 6/10, for the creation and delivery of this one time training session.
- the client is open to a fixed fee proposal or may be open to a time and materials scenario.
- Must hold Canadian citizenship.
