We are working with our client in locating an experienced Instructional Designer to support the conversion of 11 existing eLearning modules into engaging, high-impact micro-learning experiences. This project is part of a broader strategic effort to streamline training and reduce time-to-competency across the organization. The goal is to transform 11 existing eLearning courses (built in Articulate Storyline) into 3–5-minute micro-learning modules, with an estimated 4–8 micro-learnings per course. Approximately 85–90% of the content already exists, though some graphics may need to be reworked and 10–15% of the content will require updating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and deconstruct existing Storyline-based eLearning courses into micro-learning components
• Design and develop 3–5-minute micro-learning modules using Articulate Storyline
• Integrate engaging elements such as videos (e.g., Synthesia or AI-generated), animations, and assessments to enhance learner engagement and retention
• Collaborate with internal Instructional Designers and SMEs as needed
• Ensure consistency with micro-learning best practices and adult learning principles
• Deliver polished, mobile-friendly micro-learning modules ready for deployment

• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer with a strong portfolio of micro-learning or eLearning projects
• Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline (must provide own license and equipment)
• Ability to incorporate engaging multimedia elements (e.g., AI video tools, voiceovers, animation)
• Strong understanding of micro-learning principles and chunking strategies for complex content
• Responsive, collaborative work style with excellent communication skills

• Output: ~4–8 micro-learnings per course (3–5 minutes each)

The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour on an independent contractor basis and is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications, and specific work location.
