Instructional Design Consultant - New Hire Onboarding - 100% Virtual
Job Description
The ideal candidate should be able to take initiative and drive projects forward independently. Strong project management skills are essential to coordinate tasks, manage timelines, and ensure the successful execution of the merged programs.
Additionally, change management expertise and the ability to communicate effectively, manage stakeholders' expectations, and facilitate change within the organization will be essential to ensure the successful adoption of the merged initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional design, particularly with blended learning approaches.
- Expertise in learning strategy, with the ability to make recommendations during the project intake process.
- A deep understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies is crucial for this role. The candidate should have proven experience in designing engaging and effective learning experiences, including eLearning modules, videos, scripts, storyboards, and guides.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline & Rise.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality instructional content.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and educational technologies.
Start Date: Early April 2024
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: 100% Virtual
The pay range is $55 to $60 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
