Job Description

We are working exclusively with our client in identifying an Instructional Designer to create and deliver training for scheduling construction projects using Microsoft Project. During this project, you will use sound instructional design principles to create meaningful training by developing learning objectives, updating existing content, collaborating with subject matter experts to create new/missing content, and delivering the training.

The training will be delivered in person twice a month for a total of 2 months. The training sessions will be 4 hours.

Start Date: Late April
Duration & Hours: To be determined by the consultant
Location: Content development is 100% virtual. Facilitation will be onsite 2 times per month for up to 2 months in Calgary, AB.

Experience Required:
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation experience
  • Experience developing hybrid learning
  • Experience with MS Project and PowerPoint
  • Must have experience in the commercial construction industry, including experience scheduling large construction projects
  • Ability to provide recommendations and best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
