Senior Learning Collateral Designer / Visual Storyteller- 100% Virtual
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Learning Collateral Designer / Visual Storyteller to lead the design and branding of leadership development program materials. This initiative involves launching or relaunching a suite of leadership programs with professional, visually compelling collateral and marketing materials that engage a diverse, global workforce. The designer will bring a modern, clean aesthetic and strong storytelling ability to create a cohesive yet distinctive look and feel across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and brand collateral for multiple leadership programs, giving each a distinct identity while maintaining consistency within established brand guidelines.
- Create editable facilitator and participant guides that are professional, visually engaging, and easy to update.
- Develop marketing materials to promote the organization’s learning offerings, philosophy, models, and enrollment processes to internal audiences.
- Apply principles of modern, clean design and visual storytelling to enhance learning impact through cohesive visual narratives and slide design.
- Collaborate with internal Learning & Development teams to ensure materials align with existing ILT and vILT course structures.
- Transform existing PowerPoint decks and facilitator guides into polished, learner-centered materials that elevate the overall learning experience.
- Primary Deliverables:
- Editable Facilitator Guides for three leadership programs
- Editable Participant Guides (to be newly created)
- Distinct branding and visual identity for each core program
- 5+ years of experience in learning collateral design, graphic design, or visual communication, preferably supporting corporate learning or leadership programs.
- Portfolio demonstrating modern, clean design and visual storytelling, with a focus on sequencing and building visual “moments.”
- Proven experience designing professional, editable facilitator and participant materials within existing brand systems.
- Experience designing for a heavy manufacturing or industrial workforce preferred, particularly for leadership or workforce development programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva) a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with an eye for brand consistency and learner engagement.
- Content Source: 100% of materials (PowerPoint decks and facilitator guides) are provided.
- Focus Areas: Collateral design for three core leadership programs, with future work anticipated for new program development.
- Timeline: Targeting launch in 2026.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: until early 2026
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Virtual
The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour on a independent contractor basis and is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications, and specific work location.
