Job Description

We are working closely with our client in identifying a qualified university level biology curriculum consultant with to evaluate the design, materials, and delivery methods of several biology courses and labs with a focus on anatomy and physiology and medical microbiology courses delivered to nursing students. You will conduct a comprehensive review of courses materials including texts, labs, PowerPoint slides, study sheets, syllabi, and learning management course sites and provide actionable recommendations to improve course quality and student outcomes for Anatomy & Physiology and Bio Medical Microbiology courses. While most courses are conducted in-person, including labs, some are delivered online through the Canvas platform. You will work closely with the president and interim dean of arts and sciences. Faculty will be available utilizing both in-person and remote communication channels. The access to course materials will be provided through the president’s and dean offices.  

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: TBD by consultant
Hours: 20-40 hours/week
Location: Mostly virtual with some onsite in Nashua, NH

Experience Required:
  • Master’s degree in biological sciences with doctorate preferred
  • Proficiency in academic program review methods.
  • Experience in creating actionable recommendations for improvement in course delivery and learning outcomes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    The pay range for this is $60.00 to $75.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
