Senior DEIB Facilitator- 100% Virtual
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Facilitator with expertise in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) to deliver high-impact virtual instructor-led training (vILT) sessions. They are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where every employee feels a sense of belonging and need a facilitator who can help drive their DEIB initiatives forward with engaging, broad, and impactful training programs.
The ideal candidate will provide the DEIB content, specifically focusing on Unconscious Bias, Microaggressions, and Cultural Awareness, bringing their own engaging, ready-to-go training materials. They are looking for a facilitator who can balance data-driven insights with personal stories, helping participants recognize and address unintentional biases, and providing actionable strategies for creating a more inclusive workplace.
This initiative is part of our broader effort to create a culture of inclusion and belonging, with a focus on bringing in new perspectives and actionable strategies.

Start Date: February 2025
Duration: Looking for multiple quarterly or biannual deliveries in 1-2 topics within DEIB.
Length of each training session: 1.5-2 hours each.
Number of training delivery days and number of sessions per day: TBD – likely 4-8 sessions throughout 2025.
Training delivery dates: TBD from February 2025-November 2025. Can be flexible to facilitator schedule.
The pay rate is $1500 per session on an independent contractor basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interactive, 1.5-2 hour virtual sessions focused on Unconscious Bias, Microaggressions, and Cultural Awareness.
- Develop broad and impactful DEIB training that resonates with diverse employee groups across the organization, offering actionable takeaways to support workplace inclusion and belonging.
- Lead multiple training sessions for groups of 20-30 employees, including hybrid, remote, and in-office staff across 48 states.
- Use storytelling and data to create a balanced learning experience that engages participants, encourages self-reflection, and promotes understanding of DEIB principles.
- Work closely with the Learning & Development team to ensure seamless integration of DEIB training with other corporate programs.
- Provide insights on how to build inclusive cultures, with a focus on belonging and applied learning.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience facilitating DEIB training, with a strong focus on Unconscious Bias, Microaggressions, and Cultural Awareness.
- Proven ability to create and deliver interactive and engaging vILT sessions with broad appeal.
- Experience delivering training for diverse employee groups, including hybrid, in-office, and remote employees.
- Ability to balance data, research, and storytelling to create memorable and impactful learning experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster open, meaningful dialogue in virtual settings.
- Ability to provide actionable takeaways and practical applications for participants to implement in their daily roles.
- Certification or specialization in DEIB-related fields is preferred (e.g., Cornell University Diversity & Inclusion Certificate, SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Credential).

- Virtual role with the potential for multiple sessions throughout the year.
- Groups of 20-30 employees per class, offered as part of annual training sessions.
