Job Description

We are working exclusively with our client in the healthcare insurance industry to identify a Sr. Instructional Designer to support the Learning and Development team in a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:
  • Work with subject matter experts to perform learning needs analysis and determine appropriate learning solutions for a variety of learner types with varying skill levels.
  • Build complex learning solutions, including designing and developing live virtual instructor-led training materials and interactive, digital self-paced courses and videos about business processes and systems.
  • Work with technical communications to leverage desk-level procedures and knowledge base as part of the training solutions, as needed.
  • Work independently under limited supervision and solve challenges with minimal assistance.

Start Date: July 1, 2023
Duration: 9 months; 40 hours/week; flexible, but must be available to meet during PT working hours
Location: 100% Virtual
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory
  • Strong experience in the design and development of instructor-led training and eLearning
  • Strong experience with Articulate 360 and MS Office (primarily Word and PPT)
  • Systems training experience is helpful, but not hard requirement
  • Ability to format materials for readability, to create clear graphics from screenshots, and to use templates for continuity
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills

The pay range for this project is $50.00 to $65.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
