Job Description
We are working exclusively with our client to identify a Technical Writer/Instructional Designer with an Engineering background to revamp an asset certification document (90 pages) for their company. The initial task involves creating and updating a core document, which will include hyperlinks to various project needs, such as different disciplines and countries. This core document is urgent and will standardize the basic processes in project management, covering material handling, mechanical assembly, project deployment, etc. This core document will be the first deliverable, followed by assistance in creating the various hyperlinks.

Duration: Phase 1: 2 weeks; Phase 2: 4 weeks (to create a Blue Book and Training Final Version)

The pay rate range is $60.00 to $80.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and integrate content.
- Recommend and implement content flow to ensure clarity and ease of consumption.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical writing.
- Engineering background, with expertise in material handling and mechanical assembly.
- Strong project management and project deployment experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with SMEs to obtain and refine content.
- Experience in structuring content for optimal readability and usability.
