Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Visual/Style Strategist to join our Learning & Development team serving an oil & gas client. In this role you will contribute to the creation of visually engaging eLearning modules on technical training for Field Technicians. Working closely with our Sr. Instructional Designers/eLearning experts creating highly interactive and media rich eLearning, you will suggest visual and aural elements to achieve consistency across multiple training modules and monitor adherence to the writing Style Guide. You will play a key role in enhancing the learner journey and experience as well as the polish, consistency, and engagement level of this audience.

Start Date: ASAP (early- to mid-January 2025 targeted).
Duration: 3+ months (with possibility for extension).
Hours: ~20 hours per week.
Location: 100% virtual.
The pay range is $40 to $50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.

Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers to offer visual design concepts to ensure consistent and highly engaging learner experience and journey across learning modules and programs.
- Be a visionary for the learner with a strong ability to conceptualize what the learner audience impressions will be and determine the right visuals.
- Provide constructive feedback on adherence to writing style guidelines.
- Conceptualize courses and curriculums from a learner perspective, suggesting ideas for engagement, visual cohesiveness, creativity, and consistency.Â
Skills & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, media production, visual design or similar areas, or highly relatable professional experience.
- 10+ years’ experience in corporate communications, visual design, media production, and editing.
- Experience related to technical training, including eLearning, for F500 companies.
- Must have experience as a creative producer of visual assets such as videos.
- Oil & gas and/or manufacturing industry experience.
- Must be highly collaborative with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
- May be asked to screenshare work samples in an unrecorded Zoom meeting as part of selection process.
